A member of US Figure Skating since 1951, the Figure Skating Club of Cincinnati welcomes skaters, parents of skaters, professional skating instructors, and fans of figure skating alike who seek to appreciate, and promote the sport of figure skating in the Cincinnati area. We support skaters of all ages and abilities, whether you are a competitive skater or just starting out.
FSCC offers a wide variety of programs for its members, including US Figure Skating testing, club ice sessions, a show team, competitions and various social activities. FSCC annually hosts Skate Cincinnati in the spring, and the Buckeye Adult Open in the fall. In the past, FSCC has sponsored several synchronized skating teams that have competed at the local and sectional levels as well as internationally. In 2006, FSCC re-introduced an ice-dancing weekend that attracted skaters nationwide. In 2009, FSCC sponsored a PSA clinic and judges school devoted to the new US Figure Skating Moves in the Field, and in 2010, we hosted the Southern Eastern Great Lakes Figure Skating Council’s annual competition. In 2011, FSCC introduced its first Ice Show team.
FSCC is a non-profit organization, and all club activities are supported by the volunteer activities of its dedicated members and their families and friends. Our membership currently consists of approximately 126 individuals, with 10 members serving on the Board of Directors.
